Inside the
PAPER x OUTCAST NYFW party
11pm, BOOM at the Standard High Line -
It’s no ordinary Monday.
I should be tired from the 20k steps I’ve gotten today, but I’m wide awake & buzzing from the energy of the city and a few sugar free Red Bulls. I’ve been partying all week, but tonight is a special night - the Paper Magazine x Outcast NYFW party, featuring upcoming cover star Demi Lovato.
Honestly, who doesn’t love Demi? We were raised on Camp Rock, and envied her when she stole our childhood crush, Joe Jonas. Not to mention her iconic party phase - she’s an Outcast girl through & through.
We've just put the finishing touches on the space - each table is complete with the essentials for whatever the night holds - Outcast lighters, condoms, and disposable cameras, so our guests can remember everything. It may be a Monday, but the bar is open & a blackout is nearly inevitable when you’re partying with us.

The doors open, and the room fills up quickly. Simi & Haze, Justine Skye, and Karrueche are all spotted moving about the crowd in their Outcast looks. Landon Barker & Skyla Sanders hide in a corner. Gabby Windey has everyone laughing in the VIP. In true NYC fashion, the smoking section is full & the Cobra Snake’s flash illuminates the party. All of a sudden, the DJ starts blasting Charli XCX and guests fill the dance floor, packed against floor to ceiling views of the city skyline.
A little before midnight, Demi appears, looking every bit the effervescent pop star. She kicks things off with a few classics, before giving us a taste of her new album It’s Not That Deep. Her song Fast gets the place bumping - phones shot up instantly, capturing every angle of her performance. Even the jaded NYFW crowd was screaming lyrics like Camp Rock fans. This is Demi’s moment, no question about it.
Between sets, the crowd refused to lose momentum. DJs Sky Jetta and INJI, both in Outcast, keep the vibes high till late night. Eventually, all good things must come to an end - even the open bar. But we’d never leave you out in the cold. Guests were sent home with a limited edition Paper x Outcast hoodie to complete the party of the season.
Until next year!
