What Is Rush Week?

Rush Week is the multi-day sorority recruitment journey: from open houses and philanthropy fundraisers to mixers, private dinners, and Bid Day. Each event is your chance to meet sisters, discover chapter values, and show off your wardrobe.

What To Wear for Rush Week by Rounds:

• Round 1: Open House: Keep it casual and cute. Think baby tees, crop tops and your favorite pair of jeans.   
• Round 2: Philanthropy: Go stylish with matching sets or a flowy mini dress 
• Round 3: Mixers & Fraternity Nights: Round 3 is for social events. Think loud music,  packed dance floors and bold outfits. Go for sequins, mesh, or a cut-out party dress. 
• Round 4: Bid Day: This is your moment. Show up in a show-stopping maxi dress or statement white dress. 

After Rush Week:

Rush may be over, but your wardrobe is just getting started:

• Dress it down with matching sets for day-to-night ease
• Turn heads at social events in our little black dresses and going out fits
• Just like your favorite LBD, our white dresses are also an essential for your college wardrobe 
• Turn heads in our party dresses, or keep it elevated with formal dresses

Rush Week FAQs

How long is rush week?
Most campuses run rush for 4–7 days, with each day hosting a different themed event. From casual meet-and-greets to formal preference rounds and Bid Day celebrations.

What do you wear for each round?
Start casual and level up each day. Two piece sets, mini dresses and maxi dresses all have their moment.

What is Bid Day?
Bid day is the final round, when you get your official invite. And it’s important that you dress to celebrate.

What happens after rush week?
Once you accept your bid, you’ll move into chapter socials, philanthropy events, and sisterhood hangouts, perfect occasions for laid-back vibes. Swap out your formalwear for our baby tees, your favorite denim, or cozy loungewear that lets you look cute and stay comfortable.
